To adjust the chain, you would need to loosen the clutch cover nuts, then turn the tensioning screw clockwise, holding the bar nose up until the chain is snug against the bottom of the bar. Check for any tight spots by rotating the chain by hand, loosen the screw if needed, then securely tighten the clutch nut cover nuts.
