    2. Hello, thank you for your question! The SRM-410U is available to be shipped and sold into California. This unit has a 42.7 cc 2-Stroke engine. ECHO models that can be sold in California on or after January 1, 2024, regardless of their production date include Brushcutters/Clearing Saws 40cc and above (blade capable only).

  2. What harness is compatible with this since the reviews are consistent a higher grade harness is needed

    1. A shoulder harness with hip pad (model 99944200200) is included with the brush cutter. With brush cutters over 16.5 dry weight, it is recommended to use a double shoulder harness (model 99944200202).

  3. Is the head submersible? Can I cut cattails with it?

    1. This cutting head is not submersible. Submerging it can cause the engine to fail. This brush blade is designed for cutting any sort of brush and woody growth up to 13 mm diameter.

  4. Can you put a string line head on it for trimming as well? I'm just assuming there's an Echo string head or a universal string head you can use on this as well.

    1. The model SRM-410U will work with the Speed Feed 400 universal trimmer head item number 6134181 (model 99944200907).
