  1. Do I mix the 87 gas?

    1. Use 89 octane (mid grade or higher) gasoline. Gasoline can contain up to 10% ethanol or 15% MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether). Gasoline containing methanol is not recommended. The two stroke oil/gas mix ratio is 50:1.

    2. Thanks for your question. The ECHO 2-stroke engines require a 50:1 fuel to oil ratio; 1 gallon of 89 through 93 octane and 2.6 US fl. oz. of oil.
