These cabinets are constructed from powder-coated steel with galvanized steel shelves and use polyethylene shelf and sump trays for additional protection. They are designed for general corrosive storage, but not for the most aggressive mineral acids.
Sulfuric acid can:
Attack exposed metal surfaces if spills, drips, or acid vapors reach the steel structure.
Cause long-term corrosion of cabinet components despite the protective coatings.
Create maintenance and cabinet life concerns that the manufacturer is not willing to warrant.
