    1. Eagle Plastic Barrel Drums are not tested for use with free liquids. It is not recommended to use them for this purpose.

  3. Same question as Ards about a bolt ring for the 1610MB. Anyone? I use it in a situation where I need to seal and unseal it often (I use it for my dust collection system in my shop.) My lever lock can be difficult to re-lock.

  4. Is it possible to order a bolt ring (not a lever lock) for this 1610MB? Or are there other bolt rings that would fit this, even if not designed for this? (I already have the barrel)

  5. Though not rated for liquids, would it contaminate stored water? Is it food safe?

    1. Our drums are made of FDA compliant resin, however since our drums are not rated for liquids or food storage we have not done any testing to be able to advise you on this usage question.

  6. Is there a reason you say no free liquids in this drum? I'm looking for a water holding tank for my camper to add water capacity for dry camping trips. Would it not work for that?

    1. Some customers may decide to use our drums outside of their design intent to best suit their needs, however our drums are not rated for liquid use. They are only rated for dry contents only.
