Eagle Type 1 Safety Cans are constructed of 24-gauge hot dipped galvanized steel. Eagle safety cans are accepted under CARB, meet OSHA and NFPA Code 30 requirements, and are UL, ULC and FM Approved for safe handling and storage of gasoline and other flammable liquids. Available in a variety of colors for the safe handling and storage of flammables (red), kerosene (blue), diesel (yellow) and combustible liquids such as oils (green). Available with or without a funnel.

  1. Are green fuel cans intended for mixed gasoline such as 2 cycle fuel? It contains oil and gas. Red or green?

    1. Red safety cans are intended to hold liquids with a flash point below 80 F, (like pure gasoline and ethanol), per OSHA requirements. Green safety cans are intended for oils and combustibles with higher flash points.

      If the flash point of your two stroke fuel is above 80F I would recommend a green Eagle safety can.
