  1. Since the Dutton-Lainson Winch with Auto Brake is not free wheeling, do you have to turn handle to unreel cable, rather than just pulling the cable?

  2. Is this winch available in a left and right hand application? Do you sell stainless steel cables with a hook to go with this winch?

    1. The handle for this model is unable to be moved. A 5/16" cable is unavailable from Northern Tool.

    1. This is intended to be hand cranked only. I was unable to find a model suitable for use with a drill.

    1. For maximum strength and safety this winch should be mounted with three 3/8" bolts (M10), washers and lock washers. The hardware is not included

    Can this be attached to a 2 7/8 inch car dolly tongue with Ubolts and do you sell the cable ?

    1. The Dutton-Lainson winch has a mounting pattern of 7" x 4 3/8" which will mount to a flat surface only. We are unable to provide cable for this winch.
