  1. it appears there are two types of DVL adapter rings: 6DVL-ADC and 6DVL - ADT. Is one preferred over the other for connecting to a ceiling support box?

    1. Either adapter ring will work for this application. The 6DVL-ADC will work with single and double wall pipe. It will slip inside and screw together. The model number 6DVL - ADT will only work with double wall pipe and slips together giving it a cleaner look.

  2. Does this twist lock into the bottom of triple wall duravent to go to single will stove pipe?

    1. This is a fitting to connect double wall pipe to a ceiling support box or wall thimble. The adapter connects to the support box or wall thimble itself and then the support box or wall thimble would have the fitting for the triple wall pipe.
