  2. How would one install flashing in a Corrugated meatball roof

    1. The support box can be used with a corrugated metal roof. You will need to use proper sealants and flashing specifically designed for corrugated roofing. Custom fitting may be required. Ensure adequate structural support is used.

  3. I want to connect the 6DVL-46TA piping for my inside pipe . which connector piece do I need?

  4. After I make the hole in my garage ceiling around 14 .5 by 14.5 & I hang the support box inside the whole in the ceiling how many inches should the box hang down like 3, or 4 or 5 inches hanging down from the hole on the ceiling?????

    1. The box should hang a minimum of 2" below the finished ceiling.

  6. in the specs it says its 24" tall but the description says its 11" high. i have a cathedral roof and need at least 14" to clear the celling and roof. will this work for my application?

    1. The overall dimensions are 14.25" x 14.25" x 18.25". The support box portion is 11" tall. It can work with a cathedral ceiling depending on the roof slope, local codes and ordinances and appliance requirements. Some applications will require a 24" (6DP-CS24) or 36" (6DP-36) support box.

  7. What are the dimensions of the rafter opening needed for the box?

    1. The inside dimensions for the opening of the rafters would need to be 14 1/2" x 14 1/2".

  8. Can this be used with duravent double wall pipe?

    1. The single wall stove pipe connecting to the bottom requires an adapter, but the actual adapter is dependent on the brand of stove pipe. This box requires Dura Plus triple wall Chimney out the top. DVL is only for indoor use and can be used in substitute of the single wall stove pipe only.
