Friction is eliminated by the 3/8in. thick steel-face plate and thus costs are reduced because of longer wear of standard bumper. This model has steel faced plate on one side - Flat plate on one end of bumper for welding, 90 degree angle on other end for anchor mounting.

    1. The number of bumpers would be a personal decision and would be based on how much protection is desired for the face of the loading dock, The more bumpers that are mounted the more energy would be absorbed in the event of a collision.
