Sharpens Bits Like New

The Drill Doctor 750x is specially designed to help you keep your drill bits cutting like new. It performs all sharpening and maintenance tasks for bits from 3/32in. to 3/4in. to help you drill quickly and cleanly. Sharpen standard twist drill bits, split point bits, or even masonry bits.

Resharpen or Customize Your Drill Bits

With the Drill Doctor 750x, you can optimize the point angle from 115° to 140° to best fit the material you are drilling. Decrease the relief angle for harder materials, or increase the angle for a more aggressive cut. Resharpen split points, or create a new split point bit from a standard point! Even left-handed drill bits can be sharpened with the optional left-handed chuck, available separately.

The Drill Doctor 750X offers features to ensure consistent results with each drill bit. The included chuck keeps the drill bit at the correct angle without the guesswork inherent in sharpening by hand. Adjustable material take-off lets you change the amount of material that is removed, so you can extend the life of your bits without over-sharpening. For split point bits, the “Push to Stop” design prevents the bit point from being over-split.

Designed for durability, the Drill Doctor 750x has a permanent magnet motor to provide consistent power during sharpening, regardless of speed or load. The point angle shuttle is made of cast aluminum for long life.     1. Yes, you may have to do it twice like I have done to make sure the cutting edge is sharp, but yes it will sharpen cobalt bits with the diamond stone.

    4. Yes it will. It has a diamond grinding wheel, which is considerably harder than cobalt. I have used it on a couple cobalt bits, and it worked very well, with no visible wear to the wheel.

  4. Can this product sharpen a dimond drill bit?

    1. DD750X- It has a diamond embedded grinding wheel. The specifications for what it can sharpen does not list a diamond drill. What else can grind a diamond drill? I think it will if It is a round bit that will fit the DD. If your bit is only diamond coated on the point then it may not be a good idea.

    1. No, just diameter, as long as you go slow and don't jump off the cutting angel

    2. This drill bit sharpener's chuck now takes bit sizes from 3/32"-3/4". This sharpener was previously sold with one large and one small chuck, but the single chuck now takes all those bit diameters (3/32"-3/4").

    1. I think it was 10x6x6 but I would think you would be more interested in the weight of 35 lbs for shipping info.
      Don't worry about shipping costs. The Drill doctor will pay for itself if you have to buy new bits often because of being dull.
