Product Summary

DrainX manufactures quality drain-cleaning equipment for both do-it-yourselfers and professionals. The Dual Hydro-Pressure Dual-Valve Drain-Cleaning Bladder works with your garden hose to clear clogs in 4in. to 6in. drainpipes without chemicals. Simply attach the bladder to a garden hose that’s connected to a cold-water faucet and insert into the drain pipe till you reach the clog. Turn the water on slowly and hold securely in place till the bladder expands and fits snugly against the drainpipe wall. Once it’s fully inflated, water will be forced out the other end, putting pressure on the clog to push it through the drainpipe. Do not leave the bladder unattended while water is running. If water begins to back up, immediately shut the water off. Once the clog is cleared, turn the water off and wait till the bladder is completely deflated before removing it. Disconnect the bladder from the hose, rinse with water, and dry as needed. Done!

  1. Can it be used on clean out drains

    1. The model DXP1-1122 will work with a standard garden hose to clear clogs in 4-6 inch drain pipes. Simply attach the ladder to a standard garden hose using cold water only. Insert the bladder and hose into the drain till you reach the clog. Turn the water on slowly and hold securely in place till the bladder expands and fits snugly against the drain pipe wall. Once fully inflated, water will be forced out the other end apply pressure to the clog pushing the clog through the drain pipe. When the clog is released, shut off the water supply and wait till the bladder has been deflated. Once deflated, remove the hose and bladder from the drain.
