  1. Does this have to be on a cement floor? Could it go on a wood shelf?

    1. Place the heater on a stable, noncombustible floor only. Do not place it on a wooden shelf or any elevated surface. Maintain 3 ft of clearance at the front and top, 5.5 in at the sides and rear, and plug it into a dedicated 240V, 30A outlet. Full installation instructions are available in the manual.
