Product Summary

DitchPig Kinetic Energy Recovery Ropes are the safest and easiest way to remove a stuck vehicle from mud, sand, or snow. DitchPig requires a second free vehicle to pull and remove the stuck vehicle. DitchPig rope is made with 100% nylon and its double diamond braid construction maximizes its strength for a given diameter. Nylon rope stretches up to 30% of its original length, and as the rope stretches, it builds up kinetic energy like a rubber band. Once the rope reaches maximum stretch it starts to return to its original length, adding extra pulling power to release the stuck vehicle. Kinetic Energy Recovery Ropes are the lightest, safest, most effective, and easiest-to-handle vehicle recovery tool. DitchPig is available in a range of sizes according to the weight of the vehicle in need of rescue. The recovery rope should be rinsed after each use to remove dirt and debris caught between the rope fibres, which can abrade and damage the fibres, reducing the recovery rope's strength. Each recovery rope comes in a storage bag which features mesh netting allowing the recovery rope to drain and dry quickly. DitchPig--don't get stuck without it!
