Product Summary

This 10,000 lb capacity dynamometer has an official calibration certificate traceable to NIST, dated and signed. It is the tension and weight measuring instrument of choice for suspended weighing, mounting cable for bridges, adjusting tension on guy wires, field testing chain, rope or wire, etc. It features a large safety factor for overload protection and long life. The high-strength case resists heavy blows. Dial size represents the best for portability and visibility while the anti-parallax dial and pointer offer accurate readings from any perspective. The ample shackle opening fits most hooks and hardware. The maximum hand retains peak load limit and is easily reset while the zero control on the backside cancels preset loads. Pressure bar features powder coat finish; shackles and pins are nickel-plated. 5in. (125 mm) diameter AP dynamometer includes a rugged ABS plastic carry case with die-cut foam inserts. Experienced technicians calibrate each instrument individually to make certain all parts are carefully adjusted and that each unit is within stated accuracy tolerances before leaving the factory. 2 Year Limited Warranty.
