    i have recently milled some timber into 2x12 planks can i mill it while its green or do i need to wait until it has dried out

    what kind of cutters lots of small blades or 1 cylender blade and can i get new blades if needed?

    1. This DEWALT Heavy-Duty Planer is equipped with a three-knife cylindrical cutter head with
      three blades that have two sharpened edges. These blades can be rotated once and changed as needed. The single blade replacement is part number BD5140071-51.     1. The planer offers a 20,000 RPM motor. The cutter head provides a 10,000 RPM cutter head speed.

  8. I have approximately 2,000 board feet of old growth fir flooring that needs planing. 2" x 5" tongue and groove. Originally milled in the 1920's. Need to take it down at least 1/8". Most board lengths are over 15'. Will this machine do the job?
