  2. can this be used to sharpen tools

    I need to know if this grinder can be used to sharpen my tools like lawn mower blades and shovels and pruning tools? really what is a grinder used for other than grinding and sharpening?

    1. Yes. The wheels are farther apart than most so it should be good for long tools like lawnmower blades.

    3. Yes it can sharpen mower blades. Key is not over heating metal. High speed grinder so take care not to overheat blade by grinding on one part too long.

    4. Yes- that is exactly what I use mine for most of the time. I also sharpen wood chisels and other type tools.

    1. Each wheel will have a spacer, two washers one on each side of the wheel and one nut for installation.

    1. A buffer or polishing wheel could be used with the benchtop grinder. It would need to be the same thickness, diameter and have the same bore/spindle size.
