  1. I am a very short, elderly woman who can not reach the pedals on standard mowers. Is this operated COMPLETELY by the bar or is there pedal engaging as well?

    1. This mower will be operated by the bars. This mower does have a pedal for lifting the deck, used in conjunction with the deck lift knob, to raise and lower the mower deck.
