    1. These batteries can be rebuilt by trained professionals.

    2. They can be rebuilt, and I did a couple batteries a while back, but the rebuilt ones didn't seem to last as long. Plus, the price to rebuild in some cases is higher than new.

    3. Yes, they are rebuildable. But, you usually have to find someone that is qualified to rebuild them and the price of rebuilding isn't much cheaper than purchasing them new. Wouldn't recommend trying to rebuild them yourself.

    1. The DEWALT 18 Volt XRP batteries will work with a DW9116 charger. The DW9116 has been replaced by model DC9310. I have included a link below to this charger.

    1. The charger that is used with the DC9099 battery would be compatible with DEWALT 18 V XRP batteries. The charge time may be slower as that charger is an older model.

    1. These batteries are designed to last a long time with many recharges but they are not rated to last for a specific time or number of hours before failure.

    1. The Dc9096 battery does not replace the Dc9098 battery. Northern Tool does not currently carry a replacement for the Dc9098 battery.

    1. The 18 volt XRP batteries will work with any DeWalt drill that used an 18 volt post-style battery.

    1. These two batteries will not work together. The flat batteries will not work with the previous batteries. They won't interchange.
