Product Summary

With its 15 Amp, 4 HP motor, the DEWALT® 14in. Abrasive Chop Saw delivers the power and overload protection needed to cut ferrous and non-ferrous materials including steel pipe, steel studs, angle and flat iron, threaded rod, strut, and PVC pipe. In addition to a 4in. x 7 5/8in. rectangular cutting capacity, allowing for 3 5/8in. bundles to be cut in one pass, the round cutting capacity has been improved to 5in., which allows for 5in. O.D. pipe to be cut in one pass. At only 36.5 lbs., this abrasive chop saw has the best-in-class weight to power ratio, making it an ideal choice for drywall, mechanical, steel fabrication contractors that require the portability to move around the jobsite but aren't willing to sacrifice the power needed to get the job done. Motor is designed to last 500 hours for a long, reliable service life. Quick-lock vise allows for fast, easy clamping of materials.

  1. Is the saw suitable for cutting hydraulic hose

    1. haven't tried that yet with mine but before I retired we cut hydraulic hose at work. you will definitely get a burnt rubber smell. also make sure hose is clamped tight!
