We’ve found a way store objects that would be rolling around your truck bed in a secure drawer. This toolbox turns unused space into lockable storage that is accessible simply by opening the tailgate. Even if you don’t have a tonneau cover installed, it maximizes otherwise challenging-to-access spaces.
- What makes ours different than other drawers on the market? Dee Zee has designed the storage drawer toolbox to be mounted to leave the width of the truck bed between the wheel wells. The mounting bracket at the front and rear of the underside of the box and stays within the footprint of your wheel wells with vehicle specific mounting instructions. It is also a great box to add discreet storage below your truck bed rails. In addition to the locking mechanism in the box, your tailgate must be dropped for an intruder to gain access.
- Manufactured from heavy-duty 16-gauge steel, the drawer can withstand everyday use. Don’t worry, the drawer can handle weight. Dee Zee has designed the one-piece drawer with slides rated up to 600 lbs., even with the drawer fully extended! Simply unlock, twist the latch, and pull drawer handle to access your gear in seconds. The drawer opening is 54”. If you want to keep things separate, there are locations for 5 plastic dividers included to be installed. It is finished with a texture black powder coat for protection.
