DAP Max Fill is the original maximum expanding sealant formulated to fill gaps and voids all around the home. Max Fill provides three times the expansion to fill gaps greater than 1in. wide. Its weather resistant bond seals out drafts and moisture. It can be used indoors or outdoors, is paintable, and comes with a reuse adapter saving the can for multiple projects.

    1. The expanding foam sealant is not recommended to be used for this application. The expanding foam is designed for use with applications with temperatures up to 150 degrees F. It is recommended to use a silicone sealant model (7079808641) item number 5859105. The silicone sealant is designed for applications up to 300 degrees F.

    1. The foam sealant can be used outdoors. It could not be used at 40 degrees. The temperature range for it would be between 60 and 100 degrees.
