The Curt Manufacturing Front-Mount Receiver Hitch bolts onto the underside of the vehicle frame just like a rear mount hitch; only, it is placed in the front of the vehicle, providing a useful receiver tube to accept a 2in. x 2in. shank. They are commonly used on trucks, vans and SUVs. This CURT front mount trailer hitch features a gross trailer weight capacity of 5000 lbs. and a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs. It is designed to be a custom-fit trailer hitch for certain years of the Ford Excursion with 2WD or 4WD, Ford F250 or F250 Super Duty with 2WD or 4WD, Ford F450 Super Duty cab and chassis with 34in. frame or Ford F550 Super Duty cab and chassis with 34in. frame (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). It comes with all necessary hardware for a complete installation.U.S.A.
