All of our breakaway kits are tested for your safety and meet DOT requirements for holding and breakaway situations. This replacement battery case for breakaway kits measures 5in. wide, 3-1/4in. high and 3-7/8in. deep to fit a variety of breakaway batteries. It is constructed from durable polyethylene plastic to protect against the elements and features a lockable tab to accept a padlock and deter tampering and theft. This breakaway battery case is also equipped with a weldable metal bracket with a 3-1/8in. inside diameter for convenient mounting on your trailer tongue or trailer jack post. Nobody hitches up a trailer expecting a breakaway, but that doesn't mean you should tow unprepared. Be ready for anything with a CURT breakaway kit.
