  2. Is this unit a 2 wire start unit? What about off grid use as a standby unit to solar?

    1. The generator is designed to be used with the Cummins automatic transfer switch. It can be set up as a 2-wire unit and could be set up as an off grid standby generator with solar. Doing so would void the manufacturer warranty.

    1. The 200 amp transfer switch, item #79059 would be recommended for use with this generator for 120/240 volts.

  4. What is fuel consumption? Does it run a constant rpm's , or idle down with load demand?

    1. The natural gas (NG) fuel consumption at 50% load is 195 ft³/hour and at 100% load is 253 ft³/hour. The liquid propane (LP) fuel consumption at 50% load is 1.6 gallons/hour and at 100% load is 2.3 gallons/hour. The engine runs at 3600 RPM.
