  1. Does Cummins approve converting the P11000iTF from bonded to floating neutral for a home inlet/interlock installation? If yes, is there an official procedure, and does the conversion affect the warranty?

    1. It is not recommended to modify the generator, as it would void the warranty.

  2. Can it be wired to a Cummins automatic transfer switch ?

    1. It can be set up with a transfer switch and a power inlet box. As it is a portable generator, it could not be set up with a automatic transfer switch.

  3. I have a cabin that sits at 9,400ft elevation.  Will the generator run at that high altitude correctly with the high altitude kit installed? (Using gasoline as the fuel source) I understand reduced performance, but will I be causing damage, fouling etc.?

    1. With the high altitude kit installed properly, the generator will run effectively at 9,400ft elevation on gasoline. With the air density decrease it will drop in engine performance.

    1. The natural gas hose kit model A069G128 (item number 7184711) is recommended for this generator. The ID size of the hose is 3/8". The quick connection size is 3/8".
