  2. Why does the extension cord need to be unplugged during retraction?

    1. This cord reel is for storage. The cord will turn when you are reeling it in or out. It does not have a slip ring that would allow it to stay plugged in.

  3. What are the dimensions (wide, deep and high)?

    1. The reel is 20 1/2" wide overall including the handle and 14" wide not including the handle. It's 13" H and 12" front to back.

    1. This does not have slip rings built in, and it will hold either 150 feet of 8/3 cord or 225 feet of 10/3 cord.

  5. Electrical Issues

    Will normal home circuit breaker, 15 or 20 amps., handle 150 foot cord/ general use like hedge trimmer, electric chain saw or power washer? Can you provide a 100-150 foot cord along with reel, and if so associated cost ramifications?

    1. This cord reel will handle 150 ft 8/3 & 225 10/3 extension cords with a maximum 35 amp rating. We do not carry the 150 ft or the 225 ft extensions cords, we do have three 100 ft extension cords available, they are our item numbers 162466, 162475 & 162515.
