  1. Does This Item Have A Ratchet?

    Some cord reels have a ratchet that allows the reel to lock once the cable is paid out to working length. To get the cable to retract, the user needs to pull on the cord slightly to disengage the lock of the ratchet.

    Does this have a ratchet, and if so, is there a way to lock out the ratchet from engaging?

    1. No the unit has a wheel and a lever. You pull the lever and the cord is pressed against the wheel. A two hand operation but it won't keep coming out so the stop is not needed.

    2. This unit is spring loaded and does not have a ratchet. It can not be locked out from engaging.

  3. How do you set up this reel for ceiling mounting?

    The manual does not show mounting options for the PC10 model.

    1. The PC10 is not to be mounted on the ceiling. It is to be mounted on a desk or under a counter.
