Use this Concentric High Pressure Hydraulic Gear Pump on mobile equipment, construction and agricultural equipment, machine tools, material handling and mining equipment, PTO pumps, refuse haulers, compaction and baling equipment. Standard 4-bolt mount. 1.78in. diameter pilot with 1/2in. x 1 1/2in. shaft, 1/8in. square key. Heavy-duty cast iron pump turns at 4,000 RPM max. in CW or CCW direction. Use as a fluid pump or fluid motor. Similar to Parker D Series, Webster YB Series, Rexroth S12, MTED Series. Flexible coupling or belt (pulley) drive. 90% efficient.

  1. question on inlet and outlet ports

    You said in another answer:

    "With the manufacturer tag on the pump facing upward and direct coupled to an engine with CCW rotation the left port would be the suction and the right port would be the discharge."

    Is that with the shaft facing me, or the shaft facing away from me?

    1. If looking at the shaft and rotating the correct direction. If you look at the gears rotating; the side where the gears are coming together is the discharge side.

  2. Are you saying since these are bi-directional there isn’t no proper inlet and discharge. If there is looking at shaft which is discharge?

    1. It depends on the rotation. Looking at the pump, shaft end, if the pump shaft rotates CW, the inlet is on the left, discharge will then be on the right. CCW is just the opposite.

    1. This Concentric High Pressure Hydraulic Gear Pump does not have a set minimum operational RPM as it will vary based on the way the gear pump is used. As a general rule of thumb, the minimum RPM would be around 300 RPM.

  8. Will this pump serve in place of a .589 dis. that a shop has recomended?

    I have an estimate for a system on my IH Cub Cadet that calls for a .589 displacement gear pump. I want to power a 48" three blade mower deck.

    1. This pump has a .517 displacement. If the estimate calls for a gear pump with a .589 displacement, this pump would not be recommended.

  9. can i mount this with the shaft down?

    How am I supposed to know what port is the inlet and what port is the outlet side?

    1. The pump cannot be mounted in a vertical position. The fluid will not flow properly. With the manufacturer tag on the pump facing upward and direct coupled to an engine with CCW rotation the left port would be the suction and the right port would be the discharge.
