      1. This fireplace unit is natural gas only and cannot be used with propane.

    2. CAN THE FIREPLACE BE USED AT 5000 FT OR HIGHER?

      1. When installing this fireplace at altitudes above 2000 feet you will have to decrease the input rating by changing the existing burner orifice to a smaller size.Reduce orifice 4% for each 1000 feet above sea level. Check with your local gas company for proper orifice size identification. For horizontal vent installation it recommended that a 12 inch extension pipe be added before starter elbow and a round horizontal termination be used. Always check with local codes and ordinances for proper compliance.
