The Cobra 29LX CB radio with selectable, easy-to-read 4-color LCD display features a built-in NOAA weather radio (10 channels) and emergency alert that automatically scans for the strongest weather channel and alert tone. It displays operating CB and weather frequencies and includes radio diagnostics that check for RF power, vehicle voltage and antenna SWR status. CB radio can be used as a public address system.

    When you are in the CB mode and you have a WX alert in your area will the WX radio come on over the CB radio to let you know that is bad WX in your area?

    1. Yes, the weather alert will let you know when there is a weather threat nearby with an alert tone when you are on the radio. It will even alert you if the CB is turned off.
