Product Summary

This Checkers Mud-Traks Ground Protection Mat with Connector Holes and Staking Holes is made of super-strong, lightweight fiberglass panels. It features a textured aggressive tread design on both sides to displace vehicle weight, preventing costly damage to turf. Designed to create a temporary roadway or working platform, this mat is recommended for use on cemeteries, golf courses, and sandy areas, and for landscaping and pump services. Easy to handle, this mat fits in the back of a pickup truck and includes rope handles for easy lifting, and steel connectors for simple installation. This mat has a peak flexural strength of 63,000 PSI, which is lower than for plastic, plywood or planks. It reduces 75 PSI tire load to 11 PSI and handles axle loads of 30,000 lbs. in off-road conditions. The off-white color of this mat keeps it cool. This mat does not conduct electricity and is not affected by water, gas, oil or chemicals.
