  2. How do the mat connectors perform on hard surfaces? I have historic tile floors that must be protected and want to confirm whether the connectors create point loads that could damage the tile. Also, will the mats mark or mar the floor?

  4. Does this mat bend or move when being driven over? Looking for a mat I can put over a grate for forklift traffic and don't wont it to bend or damage the grate below.

      The generic Coefficient of friction for HDPE is 0.020 -.350

      • Is the material fire resistant?

      Being made of HDPE, they are not fire resistant

      • Is the loading indicated in the specs static or point load?

      Static load. However, it is important to the customer to understand several factors that could drastically impact the load capacity of our mats. I have attached our Weight Rating Factors document which should help to clarify.

      • If possible, how do clients usually handle drainage for their site

      Our ground protection mats aren’t designed for drainage but are designed for turf protection and temporary access.

  10. Could be used for a liftgate diamond replacement?

    Sounds like the capacity of this may allow us to use for a liftgate, replacing the heavy steel plating? Our max weight is normally about 1100 lbs
