    5. The product manual in the provided link indicates a recoil start is present on the engine to allow manual starting without the battery.
      Three ways of starting is possible, remote start up to 80 feet, electric start using controls at the unit, and recoil start by pulling the starter cord.
      So yes, there is a manual start option.

    1. Over night is not a problem. When you are not using the generator turn off the battery switch.

    2. This is correct. I would not attempt to leave it for a full 24hrs in the on position. But 12hrs seems reasonable to me, considering you have a strong battery, and it's not freezing out there!

    4. The light from the ignition switch on this Champion generator will not drain a fully charged battery over night, however, if the ignition switch is left in the "On" position for extended periods of time (several weeks) the battery can be completely drained.
