Product Summary

This Champion Power Equipment Portable Dual Fuel Inverter Generator delivers plenty of power and flexibility in one rugged, portable design. Use gasoline or propane for up to 4500 Watts of power when camping, tailgating, home projects, powering back-up essentials and more. This model is ultra quiet at just 61dB and produces clean power at less than 3% total harmonic distortion for safely operating sensitive electronics. The parallel ready design allows connection to another Champion 3500 Watt inverter to double your power output (requires parallel kit, not included). Plus, it features an Economy Mode to monitor the electrical load to reduce engine speed, noise and fuel consumption.

  2. What is diffence in surge and rated watts for fuel and propane. What is run time for both fuels. Can you add an auxiliary fuel tank ti this generator

    1. When running on gasoline the surge watts are 4500 and the running watts are 3500. When running on propane the surge watts are 4500 and running watts are 3150. If running at 50% load on gas, it would run approximately 7 hours and on propane approximately 5-6 hours. There is no auxiliary fuel tank available for the generator.

    1. The generator cannot be used with natural gas. The weight would be 117 pounds.

  4. what would it take to run it on natural gas or tri fuel

    1. This generator is not designed to run on natural gas. It will only run on propane or gasoline. A conversion kit is not available.

  5. Can this be converted for use at high elevation ~7000ft and can the 2-120v sources be combined for 240V?

    1. The generator would need part number 16161-Z152010-00A0 for the high-altitude jet kit for 6000-8000-foot elevation. Details on operating at high altitude can be referenced on page 30 of the manual. The 120-volt receptacles are not able to be modified to make one 240-volt receptacle.
