Product Summary

NEW COLORED KNIT - Cotton blends, unwashed colored pre-consumer t-shirt material, light to medium weight, mill ends. Ever wondered how a colored t-shirt is made? Long sheets of cloth are stacked on top of each other. The outline of a t-shirt is cut out of the sheets of cloth then transported to the sewing department to be sewed together. This eventually forms what you know as a t-shirt. During the outline cutting process, thousands of pounds of excess cloth is left over. In steps Carolina Textiles! We take that excess cloth, cut it to size, (approximately 15x15) to bring you the new colored t-shirt rags. This material is pre-consumer mill end cotton. Essentially this means that the rags are t-shirt material that was never made into a t-shirt. If you don’t want to use recycled wiping cloths, then the new colored knits are a great option for all your general wiping needs. They are low lint, light to medium weight, and have much more consistent cuts when compared to recycled t-shirt rags. They may not absorb quite as well as the recycled knits. If you are looking for prettier, no print, standard rags, this is the wiping cloth grade for you!
