    1. This item does need to be hard wired. You can reference page 3 of the manual for info on the wire sizes as it can vary for the cord length used. The minimum wire size for 25-50-foot cords would be 14(18) * AWG wire on 200, 230, or 460-volts installs.

    1. This fan would not be recommended to be used in an area where painting is done. A better choice would be an explosion proof fan. See below.
