  1. Can you put a 2x4 in pocket?

    1. A 2 x 4 would not fit inside this stake pocket. The inside dimension for the pocket is 1 1/2" x 3" and it tapers down to 1 1/2" x 2 7/8" at the bottom.

  2. Can this be welded on mild steel ?

    1. It is recommended that the zinc plated stake pockets be bolted on. Welding zinc plated material can cause toxic fumes.

    1. The overall dimensions are 6.5"L x 2.5" W x 1.5" H. The pocket depth from the top down is 2.5". The pocket width at the top is 1.5". The pocket width at the bottom is 1.5". The pocket length at the bottom is 2.88". The pocket is made of 14 gauge steel (0.12" thick). The mounting hole dimensions are 1.5" x 5.4" center to center.
