    2. This Buyers Spring Latch Assembly is 1/2" diameter. At this time Northern Tool does not carry a 5/16" diameter latch assembly.

    What is the distance that the pin sticks down below the mounting bracket when fully extended?

    What is the distance from the mounting bracket to the end of the pin when the pin is "locked" retracted?

    1. The travel of the pin in the spring latch assembly is 1 1/8".
      The distance from the end of the mounting bracket to the end of the pin is 1.1" either when fully extended or locked in place.
      The size of the mounting bracket is 1.7" x 3".
      The spacing of the holes in the mounting bracket are 1.5" x 1 1/4".
