  1. atv ramp on trailer?

    From reading the reviews and other comments it appears that this product will work for my hinge that I need to put a ramp on my ATV trailer is this correct? This welds to the rear frame of the trailer and then to the ramp it self and allows it to swivel?

    1. You are correct, One end welds to the gate and the other end to the frame allowing the gate to hinge. These are a heavy duty hinge, They are designed for heavy dump trailers but there is no reason that they can not be used on lighter trailers. Please make sure the welds are secure and up to specifications for this type application.

    2. Yes, that is correct. Mine was a ramp door on the back of an enclosed trailer so it was a heavy one. It even has a garage door spring and cables on it to help you lift it back up. And these hinges work fine.

  2. once welded can gate come off

    have utility trailer and hinges siezed, looking to get new hinge but would like ability to slide gateramp to one side to remove gate. with these; is that possible?

    1. If the hinges are both welded in the same direction, yes the gate would be removeable. Please make sure you have a method of locking the gate in place when being used to prevent accidental removal.
