The system automatically turns on when you shift into Reverse, making it easy and convenient to use. The durable camera has heated night vision and an audio feed. It's rated IP69K for extreme water and dust resistance. The 7in. full color monitor displays at an 800x480 resolution and includes a removable sun visor. Multiple mounting options are included to suit different applications. A U-bracket for surface mounting, a pedestal mount, and housing for recessed mounting all come in the box. A wireless remote with a 10ft. range and a 65ft. cable are also included. The system is backed with a two year warranty.

  1. Will this be ok to display all the time and can it be switched back and forth manually to display another camera view, if so camera order number?

    1. The backup camera is designed to turn on when you put your vehicle in reverse. Constant usage may result in voiding the warranty as it would not be the units intended usage. You would be able to get a second camera to manually change which display is being used. At this time Northern Tool does not sell the replacement camera however the replacement camera is part number 8883101.
