Product Summary

The Hydraulic Valve from Buyers Products is built to be tough and reliable for heavy duty dump truck hydraulic operations. It's rated at 35 GPM. The 3-position, 3-way valve is pneumatically controlled (can also be shifted by handle, see "Accessories" below). It easily installs with 1in. NPT inlet work ports and a 1-1/4 NPT return to tank. The relief valve is preset at a maximum allowable 2000 PSI .

  1. Can you use the inlet and work ports interchangeably or does it only work one way?

  2. Will adding another return line to the optional 1” return port allow for more return flow? I’m hooked up to a End dump trailer and the gravity down is very slow

    1. Adding another line to the other 1" return port will not increase the speed on the down side of the cylinder. The valve spool allow 35 GPM maximum from the working port to the tank port. Three way systems on the truck are determined by the valve flow capacity, cylinder line size and the amount of the ballast or body weight being applied to the dump cylinder rod to force oil back into the reservoir.
