  1. Want to upgrade w 2 5/16" ball

    I have this product with 2" ball. I have a heavier trailer with Pintle now that weight 10K lbs, so I want to upgrade the ball to a 2 5/16" since 2" only 7K lb capacity.. Your specs say 1 1/8" dia shank. All your heavy duty balls say 1 1/4" dia shank. Will these work on this ?

    1. On this Buyers 2in. Dual-Purpose Pintle Hitch Fits 2in. Receiver the hitch ball capacity limit is determined by the shank diameter. It is not possible to use a bigger shank on this product. So upgrading to a 2 5/16" ball will not increase this capacity.

  2. what is the measurement from the center of the pin hole to the end inserted into the receiver?

    want to use on a RTV - has a "short" depth receiver and I don't want to have to try to "cut the end off" to make it fit

    1. The distance from the center of the pin hole to the end that is inserted into the receiver on this pintle hitch is 2.69 inches.
