    I have one that I bought at a box store and it has a gasket around the top to keep it tight. Don't see one on this.

  4. how wide at the bottom?

    you only gave the width at the top of the base, can you verify the width at the bottom. It has to fit into my carrier.

    1. The measurements on the bottom of this truck box are 29 1/2 inch length and 14 7/8 inch width.

  5. are the measurements at the top or the base? is it the same depth front to back all the way up or is it tapered?

    1. The truck box measures 32 1/8 " long x 14 7/8 " wide at the top of the base. The depth is the same from the front to the back.

    hard to tell without seeing it. Can I paint this the color of my truck.Or is the poly finish rought and is not paintable?
    Are there bracket/brace available to hold it in place in the bed of a truck?

    1. There is no bracket or brace available for the Poly Storage. It just bolts down. You can paint the truck box. The best paint to use for coating polyethylene is an exterior acrylic house paint or an
      elastomeric paint that maintains its flexibility even when dry. This will allow the tank to expand
      and contract without chipping or tearing the paint. There are many brands of exterior acrylic
      house paint on the market today that will suffice for painting your Poly Processing tank. When
      ordering from your paint supplier, ask them for a good quality exterior acrylic house paint either
      in flat or semi-gloss or an elastomeric paint. Just make sure the brand you purchase remains
      somewhat flexible when dry.
