    1. No it is not. Instructions are unintuitive and require some degree of mechanical understanding.

    2. Our Lawn Vac System is not shipped assembled. Assembly is required and takes between 2-4 hours, depending on your mechanical ability.

  2. Does all deck attachment hardware come with this unit? I have a 48" JD deck.

    1. The PolyVac System does include the boot which will fit any right handed side decks as long as the opening is no larger than 20X5.

  3. can the vac suck up acorns?

    1. It depends on your mower. The majority of the suction is determined by the mower and mower blades used. I have Husky 54" with the hi-lift bagging blades. I have A LOT of acrons and it picked up some, not all. Once again this is a function of mower's suction more than the Brinley.

    2. The Lawn Vac-System is not designed to pick up acorns. It is made for picking up leaves and grass.

  4. Can it pick up Oak Acorns?

    Will small branches and acorns hurt the impeller or the fabric?

    1. I have 3+ acres of heavy leaves, twigs/branches and acorns. I encountered no clogging issues when using this product.

      Sharp blades and medium/slow speeds will ensure the debris is chopped appropriately to pass through tubes without clogging. The impeller will do some minimal chopping, but its blades are too large for any serious mincing.

    2. This lawn vac system is designed for wet or dry grass and leaves. Branches and acorns might not be picked up. Branches could possibly damage the fabric if a sharp end were to poke through the fabric.

  5. What size mower deck does it fit?

    1. I have a Simplicity 44 & 48 inch deck which was not supplied with instructions. Took my time and cut it out by tracing the deck on the housing supplied and it works flawlessly.

  6. what is the ratio of leaf shredding? eg 10:1

    1. It depends on the size of your mower deck and how well it shreds leaves before it goes into the hose.

    2. That would depend on the size of your mower deck, and how well it shreds leaves before it goes into the hose. Either way, it will pick up most if not all of your leaves as long as you stay within 3-5 mph. The bigger your mower deck, the more leaves that will be picked up. As long as the opening on your deck is no bigger than 20" X 5", the boot on this unit will fit.

  7. Does this model (lvs-33bh) work with a zero turn mower?

    1. This will not work on a zero-turn mower.
