  3. Towing with a truck

    I don't have a ATV/tractor. Is there anyway for this to be pulled with a pick-up truck? If so, what attachments would be needed? Thanks!

    1. This unit is designed to be used with a lawn tractor with a sleeve hitch. It is not designed to be used with pick-up truck.

    I would like to know the
    CC's Required to Pull this behind an ATV 4-Wheeler?

    The HP Required to Pull this behind a Garden Tractor?

    1. This Brinly-Hardy Cultivator is not designed to be used with an ATV but rather a lawn and garden tractor. We recommend at least 18 HP, which is approximately 540 cc, for a garden tractor but it must have a sleeve hitch. If you are going to use this with an ATV, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your ATV to verify it is okay to tow a ground engaging implement and also see if a sleeve hitch is available for your ATV.

    1. The Brinly-Hardy Cultivator would have realistic maximum tilling depth of about 5 1/2 inches.

  6. I should have asked can sweeps be mounted through the holes near the bottom of the shanks?

    1. You would be able to mount sweeps onto the cultivator.

  7. Can cultivator shoes be bolted on through the holes on the shanks?

    1. The shoes would be mounted at the end of the frame angle, through the same bolt hole that the end shank is mounted with.
