    1. The engine does not have an oil filter. It will only have an air filter and fuel filter.

    1. The ETC (Electronic Throttle Control) functions as a throttle when an electronically governed engine must be controlled from a remote location. The electronic throttle control allows the operator to control engine rpm.

  8. I have a B&S- model 287707 1255-E3... would this fit?

    1. This engine will have a matching shaft diameter and length as well as a matching bolt pattern. It could be used as a replacement provided the original 14 HP is not required. This engine is rated for 11.5 HP.

  9. I need oil, spark plug, air filter, and fuel filter for a Briggs and Stratton 21r8070072g1. I can't figure out what to buy anywhere.

    1. A 10w-30 engine oil formulated specifically for small gasoline engines is recommended. Please view item 1707002 for a compatible oil. It is best to contact Briggs and Stratton directly for any additional needed accessories.

  10. How many teeth does this motor have on its shaft?

    1. The engine would have a straight shaft with a 1/4" keyway and has a tapped end of 7/16" diameter and 20 threads per inch. The engine would not have any teeth on the shaft.
