  2. Can a person use a star blade in place of the wire knot brush on this edger?

    1. The crack cleaner could not be used with a star blade. It could be used with a double sided blade. You would need to change out the blade guard to put a double sided blade on it. There would be a list of different blade guards in the product manual that would come with the unit. Northern Tool would not carry these blade guards.
