Product Summary

The Big Air 96in. Ceiling Fan is a modern air circulator for ventilating indoor spaces in commercial warehouse or storage facilities, and a polished addition to a home or covered patio to entertain in comfort and confidence. Tough enough for operation outdoors in wet locations when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit. The large corrosion-resistant blades in a sweeping 96in. span deliver cooling air circulation in the summer with 6 remote-controlled speeds and can be reversed in the winter to help distribute heated air more efficiently. This model features a DC motor which is cost effective, whisper quiet, and up to 65% more efficient than a traditional AC fan motor.

  3. I would like to know more of the dimensions. How low does it hang. For it to work in my garage the top of the blades need to be at least 24”. I have a 12’ ceiling so for it to be below my garage door opener it has to be 24” at the top of the blades.

    1. This would work for you with the additional 24" down rod. This is available to purchase from the mfg. directly.

  4. can these be controlled by rheostat and not remote? are there any mounting details?

    1. The fan speed should only be controlled using the remote. It can be mounting on a ceiling with up to a 20° angle and hangs from a 6 inch downrod. It comes with the mounting bracket and hardware and should be mounted to a beam that is capable of supporting at least 90 pounds.

    1. The fan can accept up to a 4 foot down rod. Northern Tool does not carry these down rods.
