Product Summary

Better Built sturdy 14-gauge steel tank is designed for safe transport of nonflammable fuels. Tank features a lockable cap, reinforced bungs, mounting brackets, lifting eyes, durable powder-coat finish and more. Tank is 100% pressure and submersion tested. Built-in baffles add strength while preventing the contents from shifting too quickly. Includes GPI electric pump with 12V DC motor and rotary gear design that delivers up to 15 GPM flow rates. Pump is made of lightweight, durable cast aluminum and can be used with diesel fuel and kerosene. Not to be connected to existing fuel system. Tank is not intended for use with gasoline or other flammable fuels.

  1. Any issues attaching a fuel filter? Can't tell if it would hit the nozzle handle or the nozzle cover? Thanks

    2. A fuel filter can be attached to this pump/tank combo. Adding a fuel filter will cause the flow to slow down from the rated capacity. Our item # 53289 would be the recommended fuel filter to use with the pump in this system.

  2. aux fuel tank hose length

    We are looking at the 12 V fuel transfer pump and need to know the length of the hose so we know it will reach our inlet on the truck

    1. The transfer tank model 29214988 will come with lifting eyes. The lifting eyes are specifically designed for installation when the tank is empty.

  6. What’s the size or serial number on fuel filter

    1. The fuel pump does not come with a filter. There is an internal strainer on the pump. The size of the discharge hose 3/4"NPT. The recommended fuel filter kit will be item number 114300. This is an 18 GPM 10 micron particulate filter kit.
